NSG 6222 Teaching, Learning, and Instructional Strategies for Diverse Nursing Leaders

This course prepares DNP (Post-Master’s) students to lead and innovate in academic and clinical education by applying evidence-based teaching and learning strategies tailored to diverse nursing learners. Emphasizing adult learning theory, learner-centered instruction, and inclusive pedagogy, students explore a variety of instructional methods-including active learning, simulation, flipped classroom, and technology-enhanced modalities. The course also addresses strategies for engaging multigenerational learners, accommodating learning differences, and promoting cultural humility in educational settings. Students design, implement, and evaluate instructional plans that foster meaningful learning outcomes and support diverse learner needs in both didactic and practice-based environments.
