NSG 6224 Strategic Leadership and Systems in Health Care Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4 This course prepares DNP (Post-Master’s) students to lead transformational change across complex healthcare systems by applying principles of strategic leadership, organizational theory, and systems thinking. Emphasis is placed on high-reliability organizations, change-management frameworks, and executive-level leadership competencies. Students explore organizational culture, innovation, adaptive systems, and sustainable leadership practices that promote safety, quality, and performance. Through case analyses and real-world applications, students develop a leadership toolkit to assess, influence, and guide health system operations and strategic direction.
