NSG 6225 Healthcare Finance, Economics, and Business Operations

This course is designed to equip DNP (Post-Master’s) students with essential knowledge in healthcare finance, economics, and business operations to support executive-level decision-making. Students explore budgeting, cost analysis, payer models, reimbursement systems, and business planning. Additional topics include capital planning, return on investment (ROI), and productivity measures. Learners evaluate economic trends and apply financial tools to manage resources effectively, assess financial risks, and support data-informed operational leadership.
