FER 1204 Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor

Prepares students to become safe and competent Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor Technicians (C.F.E.R.) in a variety of healthcare facilities. Covers the disinfection, preparation, processing, storage, and issuing of flexible endoscopic equipment for patient care, the operation of sterilization units, and procedures for monitoring the effectiveness of the sterilization process. The course prepares students for the Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor Technician Certification Exam for becoming a Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor.
