The Associate of Science in Business Administration program is designed to offer the student broad exposure to the responsibilities and requirements of managing a business. The student will gain an understanding of management concepts that will maximize opportunities for promotion in a management career. The goal of the program is to prepare students for entry into managerial positions within various facets of an organization. Students are required to earn a minimum grade of “C” in all major courses.
Learning Outcomes
Through completion of the Associate of Science in Business Administration program, students will:
- Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the functional areas of business.
- Students will be able to demonstrate current technology in support of business administration.
- Students will be able to communicate effectively in written and oral communication formats.
- Students will be able to recognize business policies and strategies for effective decision making.
The Associate of Science in Business Administration degree program is currently offered Online, with core and several major courses also available onground at the Knoxville, Asheville, and Nashville campuses. Students may enroll at the identified campuses for this program, but online course completion is necessary for completion of the program (Hybrid).
