Students choosing the Sterile Processing concentration will participate in an integrated learning experience designed to develop the knowledge, skills, values, and competencies needed in acute care and ambulatory hospital settings for sterile processing technicians. Students will be eligible to sit for the Sterilization Processing and Distribution Technician Certification Exam offered by the Certification Board for Sterilization Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) upon successful completion of SPT 1204 Sterile Processing Technician .
