PTA 1030 Pathophysiology Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4 Pathophysiology for the Physical Therapist Assistant is a study of human physiological changes which are the cause or result of pathologic processes. This course builds upon and expands core knowledge of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to the loss of homeostasis. Etiology, signs and symptoms, complications, and prognosis are presented including an overview of medical and physical therapy intervention.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 1130 , BIO 1140 , all with a grade of C or better
