CMJ 5110 Research Design for Criminal Justice Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4 This course examines research design as it applies to crime and criminal justice research. Students learn the application of quantitative and qualitative analyses in criminal justice research, the concepts of validity, hypothesis, reliability, measurement, sampling, quasi-experimental construction, errors in reasoning, and statistics. Students also examine the philosophic foundations of criminal justice research.
