RAD 1345 Radiographic Procedures & Pathology II Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4 In this course students develop the knowledge and skills of the structure and function, radiographic positioning, and routines of the pelvic girdle, cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine, bony thorax, and pathology. Trauma, pediatric, and geriatric radiography considerations are also covered during this course session. The focus of the course is on patient identification, clinical profiles, nomenclature, universal precautions, and radiographic critique/quality, and the methodologies related to each area.
Prerequisite(s): RAD 1245 with C or better
