MAT 1200 College Algebra w/Statistics and Angles
Lecture: 4.5 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4.5
This course explores a variety of algebraic topics including linear equations and inequalities and their graphs, systems of linear equations and inequalities and their graphs, exponents and scientific notation, polynomials, factoring, radicals, quadratic equations, and practical applications. This course also focuses on the metric system, basic principles of geometry, an introduction to trigonometry, Pythagorean Theorem, inverse-square law, and statistics.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 1000 with a grade of C or better or exemption
