NSG 5442 Primary Care for Infants, Children and Adolescents Didactic Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4 This didactic course focuses on the primary care management of infants, children, and adolescents across the health-illness continuum. It emphasizes health maintenance and illness prevention and also covers major causes of morbidity. A family-centered developmental perspective is used in the assessment and management of common acute and chronic conditions from infancy through young adulthood with emphasis on strategies for this population in rural and underserved areas. All course materials, discussion, and methods of evaluation will be delivered via the Canvas learning management system.
