PAS 5171 Health Assessment and Physical Examination II

This course expands on the principles of history-taking and physical examination by introducing musculoskeletal and neurological assessment techniques. Students refine their ability to identify normal and abnormal findings, perform special examination maneuvers, and apply diagnostic reasoning to clinical scenarios relating to the musculoskeletal and neurologic systems. Students are introduced to evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and effective communication through documentation and oral case presentations.

Prerequisite(s): PAS 5161  with a grade of C or better
