PPR 6290 Advanced Pharmacy Calculations

This course focuses on applying the knowledge and skills necessary to perform common mathematical calculations in various pharmacy practice settings. Emphasis will be placed on extracting and applying data from patient medical records to complete mathematical calculations useful in everyday hospital and community pharmacy practice. This course is a culminating review of pharmaceutical calculations to ensure students have the knowledge and skills to be competent to progress to Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences, pass the NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination), and be practice-ready pharmacists. 

Prerequisite(s): Completion of all previous Pharmacy Practice courses.
