NSG 3595 Evidence-Based Practice: Clinical Decision Making

This course builds on the student’s practice knowledge to evaluate and critique national standards for evidence-based nursing care and clinical decision- making. Emphasis is on providing the skills to analyze and evaluate research findings that inform evidence-based practice in health care settings and translate the findings to enhance care of patients across the lifespan. Ethical and legal issues are applied to enhance clinical reasoning skills for optimum patient-centered care.
