MBA 5605 Marketing Leadership & Strategy Lecture: 5 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 5 This course focuses on developing skills in formulating and implementing marketing strategies within the context of a business’s corporate strategy. Emphasis is placed on selection of optimal markets and segments to compete, allocation of resources, elements of the marketing mix, and strategic issues facing today’s competitive environment. The course explores how to design optimal strategies for the launch of new products and services that arise during the introductory phase, how to maximize the acceleration of revenue during the growth phase, how to sustain and extend profitability during the mature phase, and how to manage a business during the inevitable decline phase.
