This course covers English language structures in diverse contexts, fostering reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for the English language learner (ELLs). It explores second language acquisition theory, language processes, and academic language functions to facilitate and monitor ELLs’ language learning. Emphasis on content-specific language and vocabulary to promote academic achievement.
