EDU 5083 Language Proficiency Assessment

The course provide candidates with the knowledge and skills to effectively assess the language proficiency of English Language Learners (ELLs) and tailor instructional strategies accordingly. Candidates will explore various assessment types, analyze assessment data, and make informed instructional decisions to support language learning. The course also covers classroom-based assessments and the use of assessment results for ELL identification and placement.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to South College Teacher Education Program
