MAS 1200 Medical Assisting Clinical Procedures

This course delivers a fully online, didactic learning experience, utilizing lab simulations to introduce students to fundamental medical and clinical laboratory skills. Through virtual environments, students explore and practice procedures such as venipuncture and capillary puncture, as well as tests related to chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology. The course also covers hematology, coagulation, and immunology. Comprehensive simulations provide interactive assessments of psychomotor skills and affective behaviors, ensuring students acquire the necessary competencies in a virtual setting.
