OTD 6120 Human Movement and Occupation Lecture: 4 Lab: 1 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 5 In this course, students apply information learned in prerequisite anatomy to mechanical and physiological principles of movement by integrating a theoretical and practical approach to studying movement and activity analysis. It includes analysis of body alignment, joint structure, and muscle action and their relationship to functional activities. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the healthy human body enables the student to understand important mechanisms of disease. Students’ complete assessments of normal and abnormal alignment and movement and analyze their importance for life tasks.
