OTD 6512 Preparatory Tasks & Methods II

This course advances theory and evidence for selecting and applying physical agent modalities (PAMs), orthotics, and tone management interventions for neurological dysfunction in occupational therapy to promote functional outcomes and client-centered goals. Students work to advance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to design, fabricate, and apply orthotics and PAMs to enhance upper extremity function through case-based and hands-on learning. Regulatory and competency requirements are addressed to ensure safe client-centered care.
