ECH 2310 Advanced Cardiac Imaging

This course introduces advanced ultrasound modalities and vascular imaging principles. Students examine evolving echocardiographic techniques and the foundational concepts of pharmacology as they relate to diagnostic imaging. Emphasis is placed on the integration of quality assurance standards, image optimization, and clinical application. The course also covers vascular anatomy and physiology, with a focus on identifying pathology and enhancing diagnostic accuracy in both cardiac and vascular settings.
Prerequisite(s): ECH2210 with a grade of C or better
