NSG 6901 DNP Scholarly Project Seminar
Lecture: 4 Lab: 0 Practica: 0 Total Credits: 4
In this final course, students integrate their academic preparation, clinical expertise, and leadership competencies through the implementation and dissemination of their DNP scholarly project. The completed DNP Scholarship Portfolio is evaluated as evidence of the student’s growth as a clinical scholar and the demonstration of competency across all domains of DNP practice, as defined by the AACN Essentials of Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice, the NONPF DNP Core Competencies, and the South College School of Nursing Doctoral Program Outcomes. Students develop and carry out a dissemination plan, culminating in a final scholarly paper, a public poster presentation of their project findings, and submission of the final manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal for publication consideration.
