Students choosing the Accounting concentration gain knowledge and training necessary to become entry level accountants for small businesses, large corporations, and accounting firms providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information needed in today’s business environment.

• Independently design a manual and computerized accounting system utilizing all of the steps in the accounting cycle.
• Apply substantive tests and tests of controls in the revenue cycle, expenditure cycle, payroll cycle, conversion cycle, and financing cycle to audit financial statements.
