MAS 1400 Medical Assisting Practicum
Lecture: 0 Lab: 0 Practica: 2 Total Credits: 2
During this 40-hour unpaid clinical practicum experience, students have the opportunity to validate their competencies in the medical community through a supervised practicum experience in administrative and clinical skills. Students are not permitted to complete the clinical practicum experience at their place of employment unless approval is received from the Medical Assisting Program Director and any special specifications are met. A student has only two opportunities to satisfactorily complete this course unless approval is received from the Medical Assisting Program Director.
