The Bachelor of Business Administration program prepares students to enter the continually evolving world of business, government, and industry. Building on a foundation of general education in areas such as oral and written communication, mathematical reasoning, and social science, the business foundation and upper division courses expose students to the realms of accounting, management, finance, economics, and marketing. Students are required to earn a minimum grade of “C” in all major courses.

Learning Outcomes

Through completion of the Bachelor of Business Administration program, students will:

  1. Apply practical knowledge of the functional areas of business.
  2. Apply current technology in support of business administration.
  3. Deliver effective written and oral communications.
  4. Demonstrate use of business policies and strategies for effective decision making.
  5. Integrate financial and operational data and information to inform decision making.
  6. Demonstrate collaboration for effective leadership and decision making.

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree program is currently offered Online, with core and several major courses also available onground at the Knoxville, Asheville, and Nashville campuses. Students may enroll at the identified campuses for this program, but online course completion is necessary for completion of the program (Hybrid). Not all concentrations are available for enrollment at the identified campuses.
